Every person I have ever met is psychic to one degree or another, the problem as much as anything is because people have different innate talents it is always very hard to find out how you should develope from just reading books.
Therefore what I do before I start teaching is to look at a person find out what their natural talents are and then show them how to develope these. I dosnt matter whether you are clairvoyant, clairsentient or clairaudient the major issue is that each needs to utilise what their natural talents in different ways.
